In my adult practice I offer talk therapy with a strong focus on finding the underlying causes of mental health symptoms and reworking the internal narrative that perpetuates them. Often this involves a focus on relationships and life experiences that molded us into who we are. I work with both individuals and couples and have experience with depression, anxiety, panic, bipolar and substance abuse.

In our work together we will use Internal Family Systems (IFS) in most of our sessions. I am a Level 1 trained practitioner which means I have completed a 90 hour training with Internal Family Systems Institute. You can learn more about IFS based work using the link above and I will provide more information during our consultation.

Whether you're coming to therapy for the first time, a long time or needing a change from what you have been currently doing, reach out to me using the form on my contact page. I welcome you to meet with me and determine for yourself if we are the right match.

www.laurendrinker.com is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly to everyone. While www.laurendrinker.com strives to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and we are currently working to achieve this. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.

If you have any comments and or suggestions relating to improving the accessibility of our site, please don't hesitate to contact our accessibility coordinator Lauren Drinker at laurendrinker14@gmail.com. Your feedback will help us make improvements.
